Took a trip to visit my cousin Joyce in Virginia this weekend to celebrate a "milestone" birthday with her. In a nod to all of the Saturdays we spent at our grandparents' house in Brooklyn, I gave her a bottle of Absolut Brooklyn vodka (special edition by Spike Lee). I have no idea how the stuff tastes--not a big vodka fan--but it says it's flavored with apple and ginger. I also made some shot glasses for her to add to her collection. I had a great time visiting with family and made some wonderful new friends, too. Thanks for the invite, Joyce, and Happy Birthday!
